PRIA came to Signature with a very straightforward objective. Help us find leads from the Medical Devices industry whom we can help achieve reimbursement from insurance companies through PRIA’s industry-leading patient access program. The first step in our process was to do a TAM (Total Available Market), SAM (Serviceable Available Market), SOM (Serviceable Ownable Market) Analysis which demonstrated that there was a sizeable market of prospects.

Signature’s very first challenge was to make PRIA’s business understandable. Patient Access services are a sophisticated process where a company like PRIA petitions on the part of patients to get new medical devices and procedures approved for insurance reimbursement. We asked ourselves a question: how can we communicate this somewhat esoteric mission in a snappy way that is easily understandable? It took some creative thinking, but we found a line that codified what PRIA did for medical device companies in four words: "YOU INNOVATE. WE ACCELERATE."

 

Doctors’ Advice

Even more important than running online messaging was allowing physicians explain the value of PRIA’s services in their own words to their peers in the medical community. To do so, Signature produced a short video where physicians who used PRIA’s patient access services talked of their experiences and how PRIA was so effective in getting new medical devices and procedures reimbursed for their patients.

Manufacturing Buzz

While doctors could be an effective gatekeeper and advocate for the product, it was ultimately the medical device companies who would have to contract with PRIA for its patient access services. To address this market, Signature produced another version of the video specifically directed to executives at medical device manufacturing companies.
