When VT Systems, a holding company with fourteen subsidiaries specializing in military systems spanning four categories —Aerospace, Electronics, Land Systems and Marine — approached Signature Brand Factory, they were looking for performance, both theirs and ours. Our performance goal was straightforward: develop a brand architecture and tagline that unifies all of their subsidiaries into one coherent brand family. So, given the fact that most of its companies’ products were used on the front line of action, we devised the slogan, “Performance on the Line.” And the brand family coalesced.

Once a cohesive brand family was developed, the branding had to be carried out everywhere, in business cards, stationery and every possible application across four categories and fourteen operating companies. Signature made it happen.

Of course, the brand had to be extended beyond business cards and stationery, it needed to go global. And that’s exactly what Signature did, designing and developing a world class website displaying the full VT Systems brand architecture for the whole world to see.

In addition to a strong online presence, VT System’s new positioning and overall brand architecture had to be communicated via traditional advertising. To do so, Signature developed a highly-impactful two page spread promoting the overall concept of the parent company, then followed by four ads, one for each of its key categories, tailoring the message to each category’s requirements.

The campaign and new brand architecture had to work down to the very last detail, providing product specs and engineering details. So, Signature developed collateral pieces for each key product across the four categories.

Trade shows are a critical marketing tool within the military industry. With its new positioning and brand architecture, VT Systems had to drive its message home across all key military trade shows. Again, they turned to Signature and we rewarded this trust with an impactful trade show booth which drew accolades.

And Last But Not Least…

We produced a short video that explained the new positioning and brand family. Without doubt, Signature drove the message home on multiple levels.
